And at the end of the day, gracious hospitality comforts each guest like a warm, friendly embrace. This is Bandon Dunes. This is golf as it was meant to be.

It began in 1999 with the opening of Bandon Dunes. Designed by Scotsman David McLay Kidd, the course is perched on a bluff high above the Pacific Ocean. Bandon Dunes unfolds along pristine native dunes where expansive ocean views are revealed on nearly every hole. The course is completely natural and routed through an environment of indigenous vegetation. Beyond breathtaking scenery lies the game of golf in its truest form. This is a thinker's course. Winds are ever-present, and the varying elements create a new experience each time you play.

Hole #15 - 163 yards par 3

Favor the left side of this green, as the deepest bunker on the course lurks on the right and the bank on the left will feed all shots toward the center of the green.

Hole #16 - 363 yards par 4

With the prevailing wind at your back, it is much easier to carry your drive onto the top fairway than it looks. The approach shot from the upper fairway is much shorter and provides a good look at the green. Do not attack the right hand hole locations, as the gorge is much closer than it appears from the fairway.
